In February, the research project CoCreat will be launched at a start-up meeting in Oulu, Finland. The CoCreat project aims at presenting new solutions for promoting creative collaboration in terms of innovative learning models that rely on the use of social media and mobile technologies. Creative collaboration is a multidisciplinary process where various problems are explored from novel perspectives and the result of collaboration is not defined beforehand. The main idea is to develop and evaluate ‘collaborative spaces’ for learners of different ages in order to promote creative collaboration.
The main objectives of the project are to envisage and to predict what the future of learning could look like in ten years and to give people readiness and skills to act in these new learning spaces. Marcelo Milrad and Susanna Nordmark will participate in the Oulu start-up meeting. Read more about CoCreat on the project website:
