COSMOS: A new EU project at CeLeKT

CeLeKT will join the COSMOS project, a new funded effort starting on October 1st as part of the eContentplus program. The main purpose of the COSMOS project is to create an experimental laboratory for students and teachers in order to improve science instruction by expanding the resources for teaching and learning in schools and universities and by providing more challenging and authentic learning experiences for students.
The project will build upon the state of the art developments as regards the interoperability architectures and metadata standards and the latest evolutions in learning technologies to perform an extended validation on the effectiveness and the efficiency of the proposed approach in the science teaching and learning. The COSMOS consortium includes members from Greece, Cyprus, Sweden, Finland, UK, Austria and France.

New CeLeKT paper accepted for publication at IJMLO

A recent contribution from Arianit Kurti, Daniel Spikol and Marcelo Milrad has been accepted for publication at the International Journal of Mobile Learning and Organization. This paper describes CeLeKT's design approach for bridging outdoors and indoors learning activities with the support of mobile and positioning technologies. The title of the paper is as follows:
